Creating Your
Consultation
Meet with one of our lead designers on-site, at our office, or virtually to discuss your project scope of work and program. In addition to learning about the project, we hope to learn about you and how you plan to live, relax, and play in your new environment!
Design Proposal
Once we have completed the consultation phase, we will deliver a proposal for professional design services. With your approval, we will begin the concept and schematic design phase.
- DFW Clients: A site analysis will be scheduled to assess existing conditions.
- Nationwide Clients: We’ll move forward using the project assets you provide, ensuring accuracy in the design process.
The design fee is a separate investment from any future construction costs and will be detailed clearly for your review before moving forward.
Site Analysis
The site analysis process is a critical step for a successful master plan! During this phase, we will spend time on-site studying the existing infrastructure, topography, views, privacy needs, and much more. In addition, this phase will include office time exploring city and HOA guidelines and setbacks.
Nationwide Clients will provide these documents, and we’ll guide you on obtaining any necessary surveys.
After our planning and research phase is complete, the creative process will begin!
Schematic Design
Utilizing the information from our consultation and research, we will begin the creative process. The schematic design phase allows us to explore creative ideas and space plan according to your wish list, functionality, views, sun path, etc. Once this phase is complete, we will have 2D CAD drawings and 3D renderings prepared to present at our office or virtually.
Design Development
After we’ve received your feedback from the Schematic Design presentation, we will proceed with the necessary revisions and continue our work towards your finalized master plan.
Master Plan
Your completed design package is ready! Whether you’re in DFW and moving into construction with us or working with your own builder, you’ll have everything needed to bring your outdoor space to life.
All our clients will receive access to a Client Page, where all plans, selections, and design details are stored in one convenient place.
