Our Process
Step 1: Consultation
One of our experienced lead designers will meet with you either on-site or at our office to discuss your project scope of work and project program. In addition to learning about the project, we hope to learn about you and how you plan to live, relax, and play in your new environment!
Step 2: Design Proposal
Once we have completed the consultation phase, we will deliver a proposal for professional design services. With your approval, we will schedule your site analysis and begin the concept and schematic design phase.
Step 3: Site Analysis
The site analysis process is a critical step for a successful master plan! During this phase, we will spend time on-site studying the existing infrastructure, topography, views, privacy needs, and much more. In addition, this phase will include office time exploring city and HOA guidelines and set backs. After our planning and research phase is complete, the creative process will begin!
Step 4: Schematics
Utilizing the information from our consultation and site analysis, we will begin the creative process. The schematic design phase allows us to explore creative ideas and space plan according to your wish list, functionality, views, sun path, etc. Once this phase is complete we will have 2D CAD drawings and 3D renderings prepared to present at our office.
Step 5: Development
After we’ve received your feedback from the Schematic Design presentation, we will proceed with the necessary revisions and continue our work towards your finalized master plan.
Step 6: Master Plan
Now that we have created a spectacular master plan, we can begin estimating your construction budget. Once that is approved and your project scope is determined, we will provide a detailed construction proposal. With your build agreement in place, we can begin our construction documents and permitting process. Let the fun begin!
