The Frisco-based company received the Gold Award for its installation in University Park, Texas. In this pirates-themed backyard, there is so much to do for kids of all ages! Details include a rope swing from an artificial tree, a large slide that takes you underground before you enter the pool, an enormous grotto to stay cool under, a rope bridge over the pool, a spa, and a tanning ledge.  For those less adventurous, there are two covered deck areas as well as a large covered outdoor living area. This is the second International Gold award that AquaTerra can add to its list of award-winning pools.

The APSP International Awards of Excellence program recognizes and rewards installations of pools, spas, hot tubs, and water features that showcase the most beautiful and creative work in the industry. Hundreds of entries are submitted each year, representing member firms across the United States and around the world.

This year’s winners were featured in the October issue of AQUA Magazine and the home improvement idea site Houzz.

“The APSP International Awards of Excellence competition is a tradition honoring the world’s premier pools, spas, hot tubs, and water features,” said APSP President and CEO Rich Gottwald. “The winning installations demonstrate the beauty, creativity, and quality workmanship that go into each pool, spa, or hot tub that our members build and install.”
